Due to continued growth and expansion, our client is looking to recruit a highly experience Business Development Manager for their operations based in Aberdeen to cover the Norwegian Oil and Gas Sector.

Ideally the successful applicant will have significant experience in sales and business development which includes experience in the oil industry, in particular, the Drilling and Completions Engineering sectors with the following skills:

• Excellent presentation/communication skills

• Experienced at negotiating and administering contracts

• Good understanding of sales practices

• Collaborative decision-making

• Conflict resolution

• Appreciation of cultural diversity

• Demonstrated financial acumen

• Ability to evaluate a market and determine product demand.

The successful applicant will be required to carry out the following duties:

• Creates and maintains a safe, positive and inclusive work environment

• Has accountability for sales in assigned geographic area

• Drives our client’s business growth in assigned geographic area

• Establishes and maintains client contacts

• Achieves customer satisfaction

• Develops strategic account plans for identified key customers

• Identifies new markets for our client’s products

• Develops sales plans and targets

• Prepares forecasts

• Assists in developing the pricing schedule for products

• Assists in new product commercialization

• Maintains Company’s market and technological leadership

• Assists in contracts administration and negotiation

• Ensures compliance with our client’s standards and policies (e.g., HSSE, Finance, Engineering)

• Collaborates with other staff to achieve most effective use of Company resources.
